[Later in the evening, whether answering a knock on her door (to find no one there) or returning home from wherever she may be, Anna is going to find a garment box wrapped in festive paper with a bow on it and an envelope taped to the top. The envelope reads "To Anna. Do not open until Christmas!" If she opens it now or later, this is what she'll find:
In the envelope is a card! It's a fairly generic happy holidays card, though the outside and inside have stickers added. On the inside of the card are some cute little doodles of cats or snowmen or reindeer and a note:
Merry Christmas Anna! We never really got the chance to talk, but I remember you from the slumber party, and I want to make sure all my girl friends are having a good Christmas! This isn't much, but I hope it makes your day a little sweeter at least, if nothing else!
❤ Mabel!
In the thin garment box is...a stocking? Yes! It's a stocking! It's red with gold trimming and glitter covering it, as well as --'s name carefully penned in with what looks like glitter fabric paint. Inside this stocking is what you would expect in any stocking. From the toe to the top, it's filled with candy and a variety of smaller items, such as: A pack of scratch and sniff cupcake stickers, a small knit key chain featuring reindeer with a red nose and voucher to a candy shop (run by her brother, so she can probably get discounts too!).
Lining the top are five candy canes, neatly hooked over the edge so they are just peeking out!]
[Knowing how impatient Anna can be, she spent the next couple of hours pondering in her room if she should open said gift or not. She wanted to know what was in the box so badly but at the same time? It just wouldn't be right to open it if it's not on Christmas!
Oooooohhh, it was just killing her thinking about it! But then again, even if she opened it, what's the worst that could happen right? She was going to find out sooner or later anyway! Without another thought, she goes off and opens it anyway! What's the harm in that?
Of course, what she'll find is something more than she expected. That's why as soon as she was done?]
Hey, uh...Mabel? I just wanted to say thank you for the Christmas gift! I don't really know you yet but if there's anything you want in return, I'll definitely give it back to you! Really, I think you just made my Christmas a whole lot brigther!
[Aw you were supposed to wait!! Not that Mabel really minds all that much, she can be pretty impatient herself after all...definitely the girl that asks if she can open just oooonnne gift on Christmas Eve.]
Good! I'm really glad. You don't have to worry about getting me anything though! I just wanted to make sure everyone I can has a good Christmas, so that's really enough for me!
Delivery!! 12/22

Oh c'mon, now that's just not fair! You gave me something so it wouldn't be very nice if I didn't! It's the least I can do!

Mabel hums a little in thought, because she's really definitely okay! But she knows how that is too...]
Oh I know! Are you going to the ball?

[Pause] Oh! Don't tell me that you're planning on going too!

But, if you're going to the ball and you really wanna give me something, we should have a dance! I think that'd be a good gift!

But anyway! If it's a dance you want, it's dance you'll get! You better get your dancing shoes though, we're going to keep on moving until we drop!
